It’s now the end of the challenge and I’m feeling pretty good!
Despite the lack of sleep I got throughout the week, getting up early and taking my time was so rewarding. My days felt more relaxed, my mornings felt less stressful and most importantly…I no longer felt as tense and ready to snap at work. Richard and I have spoken about these challenges and we want them to take me out of my comfort zone. I am not a morning person, nor do I like morning workouts but I can see why people choose to do so. The adrenaline kick you get afterward makes you feel fresh, energetic and ready to take on the day!
I don’t think I’ll wake up at 5am every morning to sweat it out…but I will definitely be waking up at 6; doing my skin care routine, making breakfast and slowly getting ready. I will say that the days where I bothered to set up my bike and my clothes beforehand, were the mornings that were easier to start the challenge. Maybe for me, I just needed to have things prepped the night before so when I got up the next day all I needed to do was put on clothes and hop on my bike. It’s something I’ll keep in mind because when I was going to the gym a lot after work, that was how I motivated myself.
With the help of Richard, I’ve shot and edited a short video of my experience during the week. I’m relatively new to using video editing software so please be gentle on me! I’m planning on having a short vlog with every challenge that I do! If you’re interested in the bike that I was using – I’ve placed a link below! Otherwise, I hope you enjoy the video and just maybe…you also want to try working out in the morning!
